Value Partners Management Consulting was founded in 1993. It draws on the expertise of 25 partners and 280 professionals from 23 countries, working out of offices in Milan, Rome, London, Istanbul, Dubai, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore. Value Partners has built a portfolio of over 350 international clients – from the original 10 in 1993 – with a worldwide revenue mix.
Founded despite a period of crisis in the management consulting sector, Value Partners immediately started a rapid global expansion. In 1994, the São Paulo and Buenos Aires offices were opened to assist both Italian clients active in Latin America and local companies. In 1999 the Rome office start its activities and operations begin in Turkey.
Confirming its strong international flavor, since 2005, Value Partners has strengthened its presence worldwide by creating, in just a few years, a network of locations in double-digit growth rate economic areas, which are strategic for European companies: besides Latin America, also Turkey, the Middle East, China and the Far East. Shanghai, Istanbul, and Buenos Aires offices were opened in 2005; Mumbai followed in 2006, and Dubai in 2008.
By leveraging the entrepreneurial expertise of its professionals, Value Partners has successfully handled turnaround and change management projects for major companies. These achievements helped build and consolidate Value Partners' corporate reputation and brand. Value Partners assists clients mainly in the telecommunications and media, energy, manufacturing, hi-tech, and financial services sectors. With the 2007 merger with Spectrum Strategy Consulting, Value Partners strengthened its international presence also in the publishing, broadcasting, entertainment, IPTV and mobile sectors and today it is the leading-edge consultancy firm for telecommunications and new media sectors, worldwide. Value Partners' network was recently broadened further with the establishment of three new offices, in London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In 2001 Value Partners decided to expand its service offerings beyond management consulting to include complex, innovative and business-critical IT services: IT architectures and security, CRM, business intelligence, portals and billing. VPWeb and VPTech are founded and, with the acquisition of Webegg, Software Factory and TeleAp, Value Team was then created. In the following years Etnoteam and E-Tree were incorporated in Italy, Relacional and Mitsucon, in Brazil. In 2010 the Radio Access R&D division of Nokia Siemens Networks Italy was also acquired. Value Team is a leader in innovative services for banking systems, MVNOs, embedded systems and knowledge management. In 2011 NTT DATA – one of the main players in the IT sector in Japan – acquired Value Team. Value Team will become its strategic basis for the development of the European and Latin American markets. Value Partners and Value Team will continue to collaborate on complementary projects for individual customers.
